Like es steht literally auf dem Einband und trotzdem saß ich einfach geflasht da und hab meiner Hoffnung beim Sterben zugesehen.

Nicht nur toll geschrieben und mit tollen Figuren, sondern auch der Gedanke, so zu Leben wie man will, finde ich wahnsinnig aufbauend.
Ein bisschen lebensverändernd.
Musste es unitechnisch lesen und hab zuvor einige Episoden im Lateinuntericht übersetzt. Als Mythensammlung ist es okay, auch wenn manche Mythen einfach sehr unvollständig/ kurz gehalten sind.
Hoffe Ovid bekommt allerdings mit (wo auch immer er sein mag), dass ich die Übergänge zwischen den Episoden gut finde.

I know it's meant to show something, I know it's meant to show the truth. The ugly, disgusting truth. And it does, very specific in a very shocking way (which is good. it wakes up the audience and reader). But if it hadn't been for University I wouldn't have read it. So two stars for a woman's playwright, which is meant to wake up and shock, but I wouldn't read it again.
I was very confused with the beginning, tho it showed a lot of very different strong woman. Act 2... i don't know what to say about that one. It was crazy, a little overwhelming, a little weird. But gave the reader a good outling of the characters.
Act 3 was just scary.

Three stars for a play with female only characters, a very unhealthy family and some funny, caffeine-addicted side characters.
I can't say how much this books means to me. It's cheesy, it's awesome and i laughed and cried so much. I even got angry and confused and i just went through it in almost one sitting.
I love it and i will definitly read it again.
So, gays out there, this is one books for us.
