The title sounds a little like this book is a guide for 30 year old virgins living in their moms basements on how to go out and actually find some friends, which it is not.
This book is more like a handbook on how to handle people. How to successfully criticise people, how to make a good first impression upon meeting people and how to win people over to your side.
For me as a rather introverted person it came in quite handy to know that, for example, people will be more open to you if you just smile upon meeting them. I'd recommend this to everyone who wants to become better in social affairs.
