I got to hear about the moomins during the "Moomin Renaissance" on social media and having started the cartoon I decided to give the books a shot.
This one was brilliant, both for kids and adults. The story had the classical happy ending present in children's tales, but I found that it has slightly darker aspects to it as well and that was not something I was expecting.
